What's cheaper to opperate? A propane or electric hot water heater? Propane in my area is up to $2.29 (OUCH)!

To buy the electric will cost more but in the end what through out the year is better on the pocket book? Propane is just going up and up as we are aware.

I’m not sure about cost savings, but electrical heating is ineffecient and expensive.
I’d say electric.
u need to calculate the cost of each over a specific period of time and decide which will cost more
Go tankless.
Don’t buy either. You can get a tankless heater for a little more up front but you will save a lot in operation. Some systems you can combine with your heating system.
