I have a Paloma Gas Tank-less Water heater. I am happy with it, except the dish washer. I have had it 3 yrs. without a problem.
To avoid the burner coming on every time someone turns on the faucet for a glass of water, a certain amount of water must pass through the heater before it ignites and heats the water. So when the dish washer is running, it pumps out dirty water, and then incomes the cold water before the heater comes on, then in comes the hot water. The result is the dish washer washes with warm water instead of hot water.
