How do I get my gas water heater to light?

It's a Bosch 13P instant gas water heater. It's being phased out, so the Bosch website was completely useless.
The pilot light has gone out. I know which buttons to press - when I press the gas one, I can hear the gas flowing, but the other one doesn't seem to be sparking, so I can't get the pilot to light at all.
Anyone else had this problem and know what to do?

If the gas is flowing try using a long taper to relight the pilot light. It sounds as if its something wrong with the ignition which you may need to get repaired/replaced by a gas engineer later. I have the same problem with the gas fire and the cost of replacing the electronic ignition was nearly as much as a new fire so I just press the switch to release the gas then light with the taper. If it’s a pilot light it should stay alight. If not you will need that engineer
It is wore out get a new gas heater.
